National Asset Surveys and AM Structuring:
Project background: Our client is one of the leading integrated Facilities Management companies and has successfully secured a Trans-Tasman contract with a large multinational food processing company with around 20 production sites and over 40 depots here in New Zealand. Following award of the contract, our client was required to complete a due diligence process at each of the sites, which included establishing a baseline for all maintenance requirements, identifying what assets are included within the portfolio and their condition, along with establishing a structured asset hierarchy for ongoing asset management activities.
The Engagement: Kingfisher Group was engaged to support the due diligence process in the areas of asset audits, asset verification, establishing asset conditions and generating an effective asset hierarchy that can be easily used from an operational and planning perspective.
The Outcome: Through the site audits and asset surveys completed by the Kingfisher Group team, we have provided transparency of what assets are across their clients’ portfolio, along with a clear understanding of the state of the assets and their maintenance requirements for future planning purposes. This has also established a clear baseline that will be used to help measure the service performance through the life of the outsourced contract.
More information about our client: Our client is a global provider of integrated facilities management services, ranging from cleaning, through to asset management and technical service maintenance. If you are seeking these types of services, please touch base with our team and we can put you in touch with our client.
